While the area features gentle natural elevation changes, it offers limited extensive cycling infrastructure. The community experiences low overall traffic noise, creating a calm living environment.

The character of Cody is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. Cody is quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several noisier areas, especially around the airport (Yellowstone Rgnl) or the railway line.
